Love is defined as an intense feeling of deep affection.

For me, Love is Love. It is a feeling, which I feel towards everyone, all living beings, around me. And Love, for me is unconditional.

Now what is unconditional love? Love is unconditional when a person loves someone unselfishly, when he or she cares about the happiness of the other person and will do anything to make that person feel happy, without expecting anything in return.

When someone tells another person “Love you”, there is hesitation from the other person to reply back telling “ Love you too”. This is because, Love is a word which is often misunderstood.

But from my perspective, Love is Universal. Love is everywhere, love is in everything. We may be able to define the “word” Love without much effort, but it is very tough to define the “feeling” called Love.

When we talk about Love with reference to people, Love is not possession, but total acceptance of someone. Gender no bar, age no bar, religion no bar, profession no bar. Its not about looks, or the person’s background. It does not require long acquaintance or being in touch or even a face-to-face meeting. It is the total acceptance of that person, however he / she is.

Love becomes a beautiful feeling when we join another person in his/her happiness or sorrow, and try to bring happiness into their lives, and to be with that person, without expecting anything in return.

Unconditional love is never easy; but it is not impossible. Unconditional love expects no reward, knows no fear, does not demand. It is a Universal Language which just shares love and peace, and can be understood by the whole universe.

  • Love is not how you feel, it is more about how you act.
  • Love is, adapting to others.
  • Love is, giving unconditionally to yourself.
  • Love can sometimes be uncomfortable.
  • Love teaches us forgiveness.

Show love to those whom you think don’t deserve it. Practice unconditional love with a simple act every day. When love flows, accept it and enjoy it, if you can.
